Today, we are delighted to share the stunning (half day coverage) fineART wedding of Gemma and Andrew captured at Norwood Park in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. The couple requested half-day coverage up until the speeches commenced, and we know you will agree; you really do receive value for your money if you commission Mark Pugh to capture five hours of your wedding.
Perfection Mark Pugh! Bravo.
Team MP.
THE DAY OF THEIR WEDDING
Gorgeous spring sunshine greeted Mark Pugh as he arrived at Norwood Park to capture the wedding of Gemma and Andrew.
The staff at the Norwood Park were on-hand to welcome guests as they arrived. The main ceremony room was laid out beautifully, as the string quartet tuned their instruments.
Mark Pugh took the short walk up the grand staircase to the bridal suite where bride Gemma was applying the finishing touches before getting into her Maggie Sottero gown, surrounded by her bridal party.
With everything perfect, the time had come to take the walk down the stairs to the main room where the bride/groom's family and friends were waiting for them. After a beautiful ceremony, complete with one fantastic reading, and a poem written especially in their honour, the couple took the short walk back up the aisle as husband and wife and then greeted everyone in the hallway as drinks and canapés were served. With the sunshine still in effect, everyone adjourned to the rear lawn for more drinks and games, including croquet and formal photographs.
Mark Pugh said "Norwood Park remains one of Nottinghamshire's most popular wedding venues, and it is easy to see why. Just minutes away from the city centre of Nottingham, this understated, yet grand, venue provides peace, privacy and tranquillity."
With the drinks reception in full swing, Mark Pugh took the couple into the grounds of the Park for a short series of romantic newlyWED photographs before the wedding party took the brief walk into the converted stable-block where their wedding breakfast was waiting for them. Each table was named after a country the couple had holidayed in, and came complete with a custom place-card with a photograph from that holiday. It was a lovely touch that was appreciated by all of the guests.
Gemma and Andrew are a lovely couple, and it was an absolute pleasure for Mark Pugh to capture their wedding.
We would like to wish them all the very best for the future.
Their main wedding photography collection contains 300 plus images. However, Mark Pugh's Team have decided to share a special collection of 150 images on behalf of www.markpugh.com, and these can be viewed below.
This is the first time we have shared their wedding story in its entirety.
As always, enjoy.
