Do you remember Lucy, Rob and Robbie the lil' doggie from their beautiful preWED session earlier this year?
Well, the day of their wedding finally came along, and Mark Pugh spent a wonderful day capturing their wedding at East Bridgford, with a reception at The Carriage Hall in Plumtree, Nottingham.
THE DAY OF THEIR WEDDING
Mark Pugh takes up the story: "I joined bride-to-be Lucy at her parent's house where she was calmly getting ready with her three bridesmaids and dog, Robbie. I spend time capturing the activity of the preparations, and all of the detail that went into making this day so special. With the clock ticking, I took the short drive to the local pub where groom Rob was enjoying a cheeky drink with his groomsmen and a large number of their wedding guests. From the pub, it was a short stroll over the road to East Bridgford Church, where Father, Oliver was waiting for us.
The weather was forecast to be wet all day, but the sun came out every time there was a scheduled outdoor activity, so we were incredibly fortunate. With everyone ensconced in the church, including Robbie the lil' doggie, Lucy's wedding transport arrived and she took the walk into the church accompanied by her father. Groom Rob was waiting for her expectantly, and after a beautiful ceremony, accompanied by the church choir and bell-ringers, the couple stepped out into the sunshine for a series of family photographs in the churchyard followed by confetti.
There was then a short drive over to the reception venue, The Carriage Hall, which had been transformed into Lucy and Rob's seaside wedding theme.
After drinks and canapés, there was time for some newlyWED love session photographs before everyone went inside for the wedding breakfast, speeches, cake-cut and first dance."
Lucy and Rob are a lovely couple, and it was an absolute pleasure for Mark Pugh to capture their wedding.
Congratulations!
We wish them every happiness for the future, and we hope you enjoy viewing 110 plus firstLOOK wedding image previews.
Their final wedding photography collection will contain over 400 plus images, and we will share additional image previews soon.
As always, enjoy.
