Today, we feature the fine art preWED photography session of Ryan and Chloe which was captured within the beautiful surroundings of their wedding venue, Holme Pierrepont Hall, just outside Nottingham.
MP had a wonderful time with this lovely couple yesterday.
INSIGHT INTO THEIR PREWED PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION
When we first met Chloe and Ryan, we knew instantly that we would get on well. Chloe works for the NHS and Ryan works for UPS, and Ryan proposed to Chloe outside a museum in Rome.
Any initial apprehension about having their photographs taken was immediately dispelled as we set about exploring this wonderful building and its surroundings.
Holme Pierrepont Hall was built around 1500 and is a Grade 1 listed building available for exclusive wedding events. This really is one of Nottingham’s best kept secrets; just minutes away from the city centre, and yet this incredible hall sits within 30 acres of parkland, with St. Edmund’s Church adjacent.
Naturally, the Hall is licenced for civil ceremonies, and Holme Pierrepont Hall is one of the few venues that ‘has it all’: It’s location, two stunning formal gardens, parkland, a church; it really is possible to have your entire wedding there without having to leave site.
As we walked around the house, Chloe and Ryan explained what would be happening in the various rooms throughout their wedding day. Our first port-of-call was the Drawing Room which because of its large windows, offered plenty of natural light - perfect for taking photographs.
We then took some time to explore the two formal gardens; one enormous courtyard which is surrounded on three sides by the hall, the other a tree-lined boulevard which is a photographer's dream. We had brought along a few props, and in addition to some roses, we had packed a chalkboard. We asked Chloe and Ryan to choose the one word that best described their partner. Ryan chose ‘Smiles’ and Chloe chose the Welsh word for ‘cuddles’. It is worth mentioning at this juncture that Ryan is Welsh.
Time flew by in their company, and we cannot wait to capture their special day which is based around the theme of 'peaches and cream', including an ice cream van and much more. It's going to be fantastic!

What is a preWED?
This fun session is an additional opportunity for candid photographs, and if you require photographs for a personal wedding project or frame to display on your special day, this is for you.
The duration of the preWED photography session is between 60 and 90 minutes at a venue of your choice.
In addition, you will spend time with your main photographer. The photographs will be relaxed and offer a different aspect to your wedding photography collection. The more relaxed you are on the day of your wedding, the better.
Who will it be with?
Your preWED photography session will be with Mark, Pamela or another member of the MP Team.
Is the preWED optional?
Yes. This is completely optional, and some couples are happy to see us on the day of their wedding only.
Where can our session be?
You decide, and you can choose somewhere significant to you. You may also wish to consider bringing along props and costumes. We have travelled to romantic destinations for preWED sessions, and there is no additional charge to you for travel expenses. Example destination preWED sessions include Venice, Paris and Italy.
What will we receive?
If requested, you will receive all of your preWED photography presented on CD-ROM or USB Memory flash drive in a beautiful presentation case.
