Mark Pugh visited Calke Abbey in Derbyshire to meet with Hannah and Carl.
This imposing eighteenth century mansion provided the perfect backdrop for their preWED love session. Mark, Hannah and Carl explored the extensive grounds, including the walled garden, green houses, and the grotto and all three had a wonderful time.
Mark Pugh said: "It is always a pleasure to return to Calke Abbey. Bride-to-be, Hannah had phoned ahead to let the staff know about our visit.
Hannah decided to wear a tutu-style skirt which brightened up things no-end!
The couple are due to marry abroad in Lake Como (Italy) followed by their wedding reception a week later closer to home at Amalfi White in Derbyshire, and I cannot wait to spend more time with them."
Their main preWED photography collection contains 100 plus images. However, we have decided to share 45ish image previews on behalf of www.markpugh.com, and these can be viewed below.
Additional image previews will be shared soon.
As always, enjoy.
ABOUT THE FEATURED VENUE
Calke Abbey is a Grade I listed country house near Ticknall, Derbyshire, England, in the care of the National Trust.
The site was an Augustinian priory from the 12th century until its dissolution by Henry VIII. The present building, named Calke Abbey in 1808, was never actually an abbey, but is a Baroque mansion built between 1701 and 1704.
The house was owned by the Harpur family for nearly 300 years until it was passed to the Trust in 1985 in lieu of death duties. Today, the house is open to the public and many of its rooms are deliberately displayed in the state of decline in which the house was handed to the Trust.
