Today, we are delighted to share firstLOOK image previews from Laura and Matt's stunning wedding at Stoke Rochford Hall.
They chose Mark Pugh as their official wedding photographer and he thoroughly enjoyed capturing their special day.
The newlyweds are currently travelling on a three month honeymoon around the world, taking in Canada, America, New Zealand, Australia and Japan and MP cannot wait to see them again when they return.
We hope they are having an amazing time!
THE DAY OF THEIR WEDDING
Mark Pugh joined bride Laura and her ladies in the bridal suite at Stoke Rochford Hall.
Once again, there was an aura of calm over the proceedings, as Laura was ably assisted by her bridesmaids and her mother.
Mark Pugh was able to capture one of our favourite parts of any wedding: The moment when Laura's father walked into the bridal suite to see his daughter in her dress for the first time; always a special moment.
Laura then took the short walk down from the bridal suite to the orangery where groom Matt was waiting for her.
After a beautiful ceremony, the bridal party adjourned to the library for drinks, before everyone went outside onto the terrace for drinks, canapés and formal photographs. Naturally, Stoke Rochford Hall provided a grand backdrop for all of the formal photography.
With its imposing architecture and grand interiors, Stoke Rochford Hall has it all. It is easy to see why so many couples have their entire wedding day at this venue. The orangery is where ceremonies and first dances are held, and from a photographer's point-of-view offers the best light for wedding photographs of any wedding venue in the East Midlands. Wedding Breakfasts are typically held in the Library, an expansive, grand room, and the grand hall offers high ceilings, oak panelling and one of the most impressive fireplaces in the United Kingdom. Stoke Rochford boasts acres of beautiful gardens and woodland, perfect for exploring and walking-off that wedding breakfast. Of course, a great wedding venue is more than just bricks, mortar and grounds. It is the staff that help make Stoke Rochford Hall the exceptional venue it is. Everyone is friendly, approachable, and happy to help.
Before long, the time had come to return to the library for the wedding breakfast. Each table was named after a country. There were three speeches, one of Laura's father, one from Matt himself, and one from Matt's brother who was his Best Man. There was a rumour circulating that there had been input from a relative who was a professional comedian on the 'script' for the Best Man's speech. All we can say is it was hilarious, and is one Mark Pugh won't forget for a long time to come.
As the guests ate, the orangery was transformed into the night-time venue with a disco and large illuminated lettering.
Their wedding represented their love of travel, was elegant and stylish, and Mark Pugh said it was wonderful to be able to spend time in the company of such a lovely group of people.
Congratulations Laura and Matt
