Mark Pugh joined the couple in December for their wedding consultation meeting and preWED session at their wedding venue, Normanton Hall, which sits on the shores of Rutland Water, one of the largest (beautiful) artificial lakes in Europe, and the largest reservoir in the United Kingdom.
Mark takes up the story: “After their wedding consultation meeting, I took the couple from Normanton Hall, the short walk along the waterside path to their wedding ceremony venue, Normanton Church. This Italian-looking building was actually a two stories high before the valley was flooded to create the reservoir in the mid-1970s. Only the top floor of the church is visible today, the lower level having being filled with concrete.
Yvette and Dan braved the icy weather for this lovely series of shots by one of the most beautiful and popular locations in the Midlands. Bride-to-be, Yvette is a professional trained dance teacher, and no-one was more surprised than me by her incredible flexibility, as you will see from some of the photos.
They’re a super couple, and I cannot wait to capture their beautiful wedding in just a few days time.
Their final preWED photography collection will contain 60 plus images. However, we have decided to share 30 ish image previews and these can be viewed below.
As always, enjoy!
