Today, we are delighted to share image previews from Lauren and Tim's wedding captured at the Kelham Hall and Country Park.
These are firstLOOK #fineART image previews by www.markpugh.com
Mark Pugh joined bride Lauren at her parent's house for her bridal preparations. After capturing detail of the dress, shoes and the hustle and bustle of the preparations, Mark left Lauren and her ladies and headed to Kelham Hall near Newark, United Kingdom, which was the location for her wedding ceremony and reception.
Mark said: "I always enjoy returning to Kelham Hall. The imposing building and huge grand hall is one of the few venues in the United Kingdom that can easily accommodate 600 diners."
As all of the guests took their seats in the grand room where the wedding ceremony was to take place, two limos brought Lauren and her ladies to the venue.
Lauren looked stunning as she walked down the aisle accompanied by her father, and a guitar and string duo. Her dress looked incredible; she had tried 10 dresses on, but chose the first one, which was the only one she fell in love with.
With their beautiful ceremony complete, everyone spilled-out into the hot sunshine for formal photographs in front of the Hall before jumping into the large golf buggy for a tour of the extensive grounds for photographs.
With the tour complete, the couple returned to the grand hall which had been decorated with large illuminated sign, a backdrop, candles and exquisite attention to detail on every table.
For the children, the couple had arranged a large bouncy castle as well as a photobooth.
With the food and speeches complete, there was a short break whilst the room was turned around and their evening guests arrived. Mark was on-hand to capture their cake cut and first dance before leaving them to enjoy the rest of their special day.
"It has been a complete pleasure to capture Lauren and Tim's day, and the effort the couple put in to the detail of the day has more than paid off. Everything was exquisite, and is a tribute to them both."
Congratulations, Lauren and Tim!
Their final wedding photography collection will contain over 400 plus #fineART images, and we will share additional image previews soon.
As always, enjoy.
ABOUT THEIR WEDDING VENUE KELHAM HALL
The third and present Kelham Hall "is considered a masterpiece of high Victorian Gothic architecture, entirely asymmetrical, with a gloriously irregular skyline, and crowning 'grandiloquent' towers." It was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and completed in 1863. Not long after the fire, "a new Kelham Hall, of magnificent proportions, and of an architectural beauty far superior to that possessed by its predecessors, either at Kelham or Averham was erected in the Italian style...and is justly said to be one of (Scott's)...most successful works." In 1865 Gilbert Scott reused many of the design details of Kelham Hall on a much larger scale for the façade of the Midland Grand Hotel at St Pancras railway station in London, completed in 1876.
