Mark Pugh spent a lovely afternoon in the company of Lucy and Rob who become husband and wife later this year.
Mark Pugh suggested they visit Gunthorpe, home of a large number of bars, restaurants, boats and a lock, all nestling by the side of the River Trent in Nottingham.
The couple were accompanied by their dog, Robbie, who was fascinated by all of the sights and sounds of the boats, and the many walkers who were stretching their legs on this popular part of the river.
They soon got into the swing of having their photograph taken, and there was considerable laugher as Mark Pugh and the couple made their way down the river to the lock.
Lucy took the time to explain a little of the local history of the area, and Mark Pugh was able to get Robbie to sit still for more than five seconds to have his photograph taken.
Their wedding ceremony will be held in church followed by a reception at The Carriage Hall in Plumtree.
The Carriage Hall offers a smart, contemporary location for their wedding reception, and with their guests, the venue will be buzzing with activity.
Lucy and Rob are a fantastic couple, and Mark Pugh cannot wait to see them again (with Robbie in his bow-tie) at their wedding later this year.
Their main preWED collection will contain 100 plus images. However, we have decided to share 40+ plus image previews on behalf of www.markpugh.com and these can be viewed below.
As always, enjoy.
ABOUT GUNTHORPE
Situated just outside Nottingham, Gunthorpe boasts the only bridge over the River Trent between Newark and Nottingham and five pubs and restaurants.
The Danes sailed up the Trent and settled at Gunthorpe; the old Gunthorpe Toll Bridge was built on the site of a ford and ferry that has existed since Roman times. The current bridge, which is a primary route through Nottinghamshire was constructed in 1925.
