Today, we are delighted to share the beautiful wedding of Lucy and Tim captured by www.markpugh.com.
Mark Pugh was honoured to have been able to capture Lucy and Tim's wedding at their local church, with a reception at Goosedale near Nottingham.
THE DAY OF THEIR WEDDING
Mark joined bride Lucy and her family at her parent's home to capture her bridal preparations. If you're a regular reader of our blog, you may recognise Lucy's sister Aimee: Mark captured her wedding to her husband Steve a few years ago.
As usual, the bridal preparations were cool, calm and collected with not a trace of stress.
Mark said: "People often assume that the morning of your wedding will be a stressful affair, but the opposite is often true, especially if you have put the time and effort in to plan well in advance."
After taking the time to capture the detail of hair, makeup, dress and shoes, Mark headed to the couple's local church which was to be the scene of their wedding ceremony.
The church ceremony was beautiful, and afterwards all of the guests existed the church into the grounds for drinks. At this point, it started to rain, and the decision was taken to move to the reception venue, Goosedale. The large hall allowed for formal group photographs to be taken indoors away from the rain, whilst live entertainment was provided by Matt James. With the formal group photographs complete, it was time to adjourn to the dining room for speeches. The speeches were unusual as they included a quiz about the couple.
The venue was partially themed around the Disney / Pixar film 'Toy Story', and the dining room was adorned by incredible attention to detail and wonderful florals. Every aspect of their reception had been considered, including a photo-booth and a visit from Mark's favourite Casino company, Blackjack Fun casino: "It's always a please to meet the team from Blackjack. I have worked with them on a number of occasions previously, and their Blackjack and Roulette tables always prove to be a real crowd-pleaser."
With a break in the weather, Mark seized the opportunity to grab the couple for a few shots in the grounds of Goosedale, before the weather closed in again for more rain. As the couple returned, it was time to cut their cake and have their first dance before a firework display to close the evening.
Congratulations Lucy and Tim!
We wish them every happiness for the future, and we hope you enjoy viewing 100 plus firstLOOK wedding image previews.
Their final wedding photography collection will contain over 350 plus images, and we will share additional image previews soon.
As always, enjoy.
